Join us in welcoming our August guest speaker, Charles Kuffner. A long time Houston Heights resident, Kuffner is the founder and operator of the oldest continuously run political blog in Texas, Off the Kuff. Founded in 2001, Off the Kuff has become known for reliable political reporting and thoughtful commentary and has been featured in the Houston Chronicle, the Houston Press, and Texas Monthly.

Some of Kuffner’s most recent posts have dealt with the July campaign finance reports, the lawsuit against Texas Senate Bill 2337, and the appalling mid-decade redistricting. We look forward to seeing you there to get Kuffner’s take on the events facing the greater Houston area.
